Good Vibes Coaching

The beginnings

Since I was an Erasmus student, I knew I was going to look for inspiration from people. After graduation, I truly missed the international environment so I was looking for a workplace where I could prolong my “staying abroad”: funny, but true. First of all, I worked for an American company then a little while for a Swedish and later I landed in a Dutch company — each having their own beauty, practical operational tools and cultural traits.

Amongst many things, I learnt how raw industrial designed processes work in white-collar dominant workplaces, to what extent they can be useful providing effective and helpful frames to the daily work, and from which point in time they are rather harmful than positively giving a practical reference point. As for the jobs done, over the years I have worked in the relocation business where I could build myself stronger in stakeholder management and develop high-level complexity awareness skills process-wise.

Then I arrived in recruitment 7 years ago where not only these formerly mentioned skills count but the ability to have a quick sense of understanding of the context of the actual acquisition too. Responding to profound personalised needs is one thing, understanding them is another: this is where my sense of curiosity and the ability to hear the necessity behind creating the solutions come into play. Also, I can easily commit myself to the requisitions as I consider them missions, that are to be completed to the best of my knowledge.

Once I was participating in a workshop at work, and we were about to bring examples of our “superpower” which we think helps us greatly at work. I knew my own “solution” but could only draw it as I did not find the apt expression. Luckily, one of my colleagues did find it, so since then I have it: the good vibes!

What does it mean?

I can connect with ease to my projects and to the people within.

Furthermore, for me this is effortless in a sense that the drive I have is deeply natural and I do not need extra motivation to “remain seated” over difficulties and while facing unexpected pitfalls.

Shifting to coaching

Over the past years my agenda was filled with thousands of interviews, countless meetings with stakeholders and hundreds and hundreds of stories about change in career — I enjoyed and appreciated every bite of them! I had great conversations while supporting shifts within the organisation and I loved these occasions. In the meantime, I got thirsty to evolve in my profession so I went to study business coaching. Why? Because I saw this as a considerable element in the puzzle of my professional fulfilment. I found it as a great tool to use to set goals and strive to reach them while exploiting varied methods.
